You'd have to be living under the Geico rock if you haven't heard about the benefits to your community of shopping local. Here at Belltown Local, we've taken the concept and ramped it up a bit. The idea of consciously patronizing your neighborhood Mom and Pop shop to improve the quality of the community and increase public safety is only new in a First World Problem sort of way. In lieu of giving Belltown Local subscribers a deal for small business week, the owners at The Innkeeper (Chris Linker, Judy Boardman and Chef Brian Durbin also own Black Bottle) have kindly offered to throw us all a patio party! Come and join other Belltown Locals for free food and drink. The Innkeeper will be smoking and grilling delicious meats and veggies on the back patio, so grab your Red Solo Cup and get ready to mingle with your fellow neighbors. >> More

BBA Awarded City Grant for Self-Guided Belltown Architectural Tours
The Belltown Business Association’s project, “Belltown Self Guided Tours,” has just been awarded more than $4,000 from the Neighborhood Matching Fund of the City of Seattle.
